This Privacy Policy describes how Potomac (“PTV,” “we,” “us,” and/or “our”) handles personal data we collect online (e.g., through our websites or social media accounts) (collectively, the “Services”). Information We Collect
Information we collect directly from you
We collect the information you provide directly to us, such as your email address when you ask to receive emails, fill out a form, enter information on the website, or use Live Chat, or interact with us on social media. The types of personal data we may collect directly from you include:
- Contact information, such as your name, title, employer or company affiliation, email address, mailing address, and phone number;
- Optional information you may choose to provide, such as your age group, date of birth, gender, social handles, your location; and
- Any other information you choose to provide.
Information about you through your use of our Services
We may collect information about you and your use of the Services, when you:

- Correspond with our customer service team.

Information we collect from other sources
When you access the Services through a social network, such as LinkedIn, we may collect information from the social network in accordance with your settings on the social network. If you interact with us on social media, we will collect information about those interactions. The information we may collect includes your name, social media handle, picture, email address, and any information you volunteer.
Information we collect by automated means
When you visit our Services online, we collect certain information automatically. To collect this information, we may use cookies, web beacons, log files, and similar technologies. A “cookie” is a text file that websites send to a visitor‘s computer or other internet-connected device to uniquely identify the visitor’s browser or to store information or settings in the browser. A “web beacon,” also known as a pixel tag or clear GIF, is used to transmit information back to a web server. - Details about the devices that are used to access our websites (such as IP address, browser information, location information, device information, and operating system information);

- Usage information (such as the number and frequency of visitors to our websites).
We may associate this information with you, the device you use to connect to our Services, or email or social media accounts that you use to engage with PTV.
Analytics Services Provided by Others
We may allow others to provide analytics services on our behalf across the internet and in mobile applications. These entities may use cookies, web beacons, and other technologies to collect information about your use of the Services and other websites and applications, including your IP address, web browser, mobile network information, pages viewed, time spent on pages or in apps, links clicked, and conversion information. Your Rights and Choices
Opting out of email marketing
You may unsubscribe from our emails at any time by following the instructions included in those emails. If you opt out of receiving such communications, note that we may continue to send you non-promotional emails (such as responsive emails or emails about changes to our legal terms).
Restricting cookies
Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. You can usually choose to set your browser to remove or reject browser cookies. Please note that if you choose to remove or reject cookies, this could affect the availability and functionality of our websites and Services.
Children
Our Services are not designed for children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us at privacy@potomac.com, and we will delete that information from our databases.
Data Transfers
PTV is headquartered in the United States. If you provide information to us from another country, we may transfer your personal data to, or store or access it in, a jurisdiction that may not provide equivalent levels of data protection as your home jurisdiction. We will take steps to ensure that your personal data receives an adequate level of protection in the jurisdictions in which we process it.
Residents of the European Economic Area
The privacy of EU-based users is protected by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Data subjects have the right to request the full extent of their personal data that has been collected, processed, and stored by PTV, free of charge. PTV does not collect, process, or store personal data without the subject’s prior consent. Consent can be withdrawn at any time. Data subjects have the right to request PTV to stop processing their personal information and/or delete it from the database. Data subjects have the right to opt out of receiving marketing communications from PTV. Please contact us at privacy@potomactpl.com regarding any of the foregoing.
Links to Other Websites and Third-Party Content
We generally do not include or offer third-party products or services on our website. We reserve the right to feature links on our website to third-party websites, services, and applications that are not operated or controlled by PTV. This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party services, and we cannot take responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party service before providing any information to or through them. The Services may include an activity feed, social media buttons, and widgets, such as a “Share This” button. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the third-party service that provides the feature.
Data Retention
Our retention periods for personal data are based on business needs and legal requirements. We retain personal data for as long as is necessary for the processing purpose(s) for which the data was collected, and any other permissible, related purpose.
Changes to Our Privacy Policy
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do so, we will post the updated policy on our sites and will indicate when the Privacy Policy was last revised. If we make any material changes, we will provide you with additional notice. You should periodically review our current Privacy Policy to stay informed of our personal data practices.
California Privacy Rights
California law permits residents of California to request notice of how their information is shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes or to opt out of such sharing. We do not share your data third parties for direct marketing purposes.
Additionally, if you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) requires us to disclose the following information with respect to our collection, use, and disclosure of personal data.

- Categories of Personal Data Disclosed: In the preceding 12 months, we have disclosed the following categories of personal data for business or commercial purposes: identifiers; commercial information; demographic information; internet and electronic network activity; geo-location data; audio, electronic, visual, or similar information; inferences; and other categories of personal data that relates to or is reasonably capable of being associated with you.

Your Consumer Rights
California consumers have the right to request access to their personal data, additional details about our information practices and deletion of their personal data (subject to certain exceptions). California consumers also have the right to opt out of sales of personal data, if applicable. We describe how California consumers can exercise their rights under the CCPA below. Please note that you may designate an authorized agent to exercise these rights on your behalf by providing a notarized power of attorney evidencing that you have empowered the authorized agent to exercise your CCPA rights on your behalf. We will not discriminate against you if you choose to exercise your rights under the CCPA.
Right to Know: You may request access to the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you in the last 12 months. You may also request additional details about our information practices, including the categories of personal information we have collected, the sources of collection, the purpose for collecting information, the categories of information we share, and the categories of third parties with whom we share information. Deletion: You may request that we delete the personal data we have collected about you (subject to certain exceptions). If you request to delete your personal data, certain of our products and services may no longer be available to you.
Sharing and Sale of Personal Data Under CA law
California law requires website and online service operators to disclose whether third parties may collect personal information about their users’ online activities over time and across different sites when the users use the operator’s website or service. Third parties that have content or services available through our Services such as a social feature, analytics service, or an advertising network partner, may obtain information about your browsing or usage habits. We do not knowingly permit such third parties to collect any personal information through our Service for their own unrelated marketing or business purposes or unless you directly provide it to us and we provide it to them with your consent. Unless specifically stated in this Privacy Policy, we do not share, disclose or sell your personal information to third parties for their own use, but we do share your personal information with our affiliates and trusted partners (as set forth herein) in arrangements that may meet the broad definition of “sale” under California law. In these arrangements, use of the information we share is limited by policies, contracts, or similar restrictions. Timing
We will endeavor to respond to a verified consumer request within 45 days. If we require more time, we will inform you of the reason and extension in writing. We do not charge a fee to process or respond to a verified consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will provide explanation and a cost estimate prior to completing the request. You may only make a request for access or data portability twice within a 12-month period.
Under California law, website and online service operators are required to disclose how they respond to web browser “do not track” signals. PTV does not currently take actions to respond to Do Not Track signals as a uniform standard for such response has not yet been established.
Nevada Privacy Rights
Personal Information Collection and Purposes of Use
If you are a Nevada resident: We collect certain personal information of Nevada consumers through our Service. This information is listed in the Information We Collect section above. We collect this personal information for the reasons set forth in the How We Use Your Information section above, and we share your information as set forth in the How We Share Your Information section above.
